Lost Ark Rolls Out June’s Wrath Of The Covetous Legion Update

After a slight delay, Amazon Game Studios has officially rolled out Lost Ark’s June update, a.k.a. Wrath of the Covetous Legion. The update brings with it the new Vykas Legion Raid, the Kungelanium Guardian Raid, the new Thronespire solo dungeon, and the new Heartbeat Island where players can kick back and relax after taking on the new bosses that have come to Arkesia.

“Need some R&R after fighting the Demonic Legions in Arkesia’s hot summer months? Spend some time relaxing on the beach or dancing with your friends on the new event island: Heartbeat Island. Once you’ve arrived on Heartbeat Island you can collect Festival Coins through various activities, which can be exchanged for a variety of rewards. There are daily quests where you receive Festival Coins just by relaxing in a designated area, and hourly quests for dancing and defeating Rekiel, the Dancing Queen.”

To get to the island, simply talk to the festival expert NPC Jollous in any of the major cities or by sailing to it directly from a location near Anikka. The island is open to everyone with no quest requirements whatsoever. As for the other new instances, you’ll need to have an item level of a minimum item level of 1430 to take on the Vykas Legion Raid at Normal difficulty and 1460 for Hard, at least 1460 to enter the Kungelanium Guardian Raid, and item level 1325 and above to attempt the Thronespire dungeon.

Wrath of the Covetous Legion also introduces Growth Support Packs, including the Punika Growth Support Pack which was accidentally released and pulled from the game last month. A CAPTCHA system has also been put in place as part of the team’s ongoing efforts to kick every last bot out of the game. Players will now randomly be asked to submit a CAPTCHA text when entering a new zone.

There’s also new cosmetic collections, a new leopard pet, a handful of quality-of-life updates, and a long list of bug fixes. Details can be found in the full release notes on the Lost Ark official site.
