You have been warned and Amazon Game Studios has delivered on its promise to bring the mighty banhammer down on botters in Lost Ark. The team reports that over 300K accounts were caught in the ban wave as part of their continued efforts to combat botting and real-money trading in the MMORPG.

The icing on the cake is that the ban wave has caused quite a stir in one botting and real-money trading forums with several banned players calling foul and others claiming that they were banned for even small RMT transactions made months ago. The bans, however, seem to only be for three days with permabans reserved for repeat offenders and severe cases. Meanwhile, the Lost Ark community is celebrating the bot cleansing which has apparently caught a very big fish.

For legitimate players who were inadvertently banned, you can appeal the ban through the Lost Ark support page.
