Lost Ark Prepares For Another Ban Wave In Its Never-Ending Battle Against Bots

Amazon Game Studios is getting ready to once again bring the mighty banhammer down in Lost Ark as part of their ongoing efforts to rid the MMORPG of bots. Bots have been wreaking havoc on the game’s economy and its queues over the past few months and its finally time to give them the boot.

“As we continue our battle against bots in Lost Ark, we want to let players know that will be rolling out a wider, massive wave of fresh bot bans over the course of the next week,” said Amazon. “While we are always banning bots from the game, with this large-scale ban wave you should expect to see more significant fluctuations in the number of concurrent users playing Lost Ark, and queues should decrease over time.”

As with all ban waves, false positives are bound to come up and Amazon advises legitimate players who get caught in the net to appeal the ban by creating a support ticket which will promptly be addressed by their customer support representatives.
