“Rimeria Besieged” Update Brings Assault: Rimeria, Combat Analyzer, and Honor System to Lost Ark

Lost Ark’s launched their latest update today titled “Rimeria Besieged”. The patch revolves around Assault: Rimeria, a nine-week event that reshapes the hub city of Shae and introduces new group activities, progression rewards, and a performance-tracking tool. For anyone who hasn’t checked in since launch, Lost Ark is an isometric action-MMO first released in Korea in 2019 and localised by Amazon Games for North America and Europe in 2022. Tough raids, rapid combat, and a constant stream of limited-time events have kept its endgame busy. This update continues that trend while adding a few long-requested quality-of-life systems.
The headline is a two-part PvE suite that scales from solo runs to full eight-player clears, slotting neatly into the game’s Tier 4 progression. Behind the scenes, Smilegate RPG is also rolling out a Combat Analyzer to help players study their numbers without third-party parsers, plus an Honor System that highlights cooperative play. Here’s what to expect once the servers come back online:
- Assault: Crimson Abyss, Narhash – One-gate dungeon for one to four players. Normal requires item level 1,660; Hard bumps that to 1,700. Weekly lockout, scales with party size.
- Assault: Flame of Destruction, Tarkal – Eight-player raid aimed squarely at Tier 4 veterans (1,680 Normal, 1,720 Hard). Shares lockouts with other endgame raids and drops Ancient-grade loot on Hard.
- Event Currency & Shop – Medals earned from both activities trade for honing mats, engraving books, accessories, and cosmetic items. All rewards are roster-bound to curb flipping on the market board.
- Combat Analyzer – Built-in DPS meter that breaks down damage, healing, and timeline data across raids, dungeons, Guardian hunts, and even Trixion training. Records can be saved, compared, and viewed in a compact overlay mid-fight.
- Honor System – Players award up to three Honors per week to commend good teammates. Accumulated points raise an account-wide grade that may appear on loading screens via the new Hall of Honor feature.
- Revelations & Kurzan Events – Two seasonal events running through December and November respectively, offering daily objectives and community progress trackers with rotating reward pools.
- Skin Crafting & Cosmetics – New dye patterns, class-specific transmogs, and the Sky Dance cosmetic line join the roster. Attendance rewards now recognise 1,000, 1,500, and 2,000-day veterans.
- Quality-of-Life Tweaks – Faster gem tuning at 1,640 item level, improved inventory search, streamlined gold drops, and assorted solo-mode balance changes for older Legion Raids.
