Amazon Game Studios accidentally released a Lost Ark supporter pack earlier this week that wasn’t meant to go on sale just yet. The Punika Growth Support Pack was available for less than a day before the developers pulled it from the cash shop. The $10 pack contained several gear upgrade materials, Honor Shards, and Ancient Platinum Coin.

“While we understand this prompt release and removal of the Punika Growth Support Pack may be confusing, this item was being internally tested and was not finalized for sale on live servers; it was not intended to be released, and made it into the client after last night’s maintenance due to an error in file delivery,” said Amazon.

“We are still working through details regarding any potential offerings of ‘support packs’ including their general availability, content, and pricing. We will provide additional details on future plans when we can,” they added.

As can be expected, this has caused a bit of a stir in the Lost Ark community but the good news is that those who managed to purchase the pack will be allowed to keep it. Whether it will come back in a new shape or form in the future is anyone’s guess.

More information can be found on the Lost Ark official forums. Meanwhile, stay tuned for another massive ban wave as part of Amazon’s efforts to combat botting in the popular fantasy MMORPG.
