Torchlight Infinite Drops New Cinematic Trailer And October Release Window

Torchlight Infinite got a new cinematic trailer during this weekend’s Tap Tap Presents showcase along with a release window for the upcoming Torchlight mobile spinoff. The trailer offers a short preview of the lore surrounding the game, as well as the characters that players will have access to when the game officially makes its debut.
“As seen in the CG trailer, Torchlight Infinite is all about finding hope in the darkness,” says developer XD Games in the official press release. “Based on lore from the original Torchlight, players can experience a new story in an apocalyptic era where danger lurks around every corner. A team of Torchlight heroes are on a mission to prevent an invasion of darkness and protect innocents who have been forced from their homes.”
The new mobile ARPG promises an in-depth character customization system that will allow players to create unique builds to suit their playstyle by combining different hero traits, skills, talents, and gear. Players will be able to choose from over 230 skills and will be able to use the Six Gods Talent System to build up their character as they see fit. The game currently offers six playable characters, including the recently-announced Oracle Thea, a goddess with magical powers and a strong affinity to the moon. You can catch a glimpse of the apocalyptic future waiting for you through the goddess’ eyes in the new CG trailer below.
Torchlight Infinite is slated to launch into open beta this October. Pre-registration is still open on the Tap Tap mobile gaming hub.
