Torchlight Infinite Kicks Off Twinightmare Season And Introduces A New Playable Hero

Torchlight Infinite kicked off a brand-new season, dubbed Twinightmare, offering players a treasure trove of exciting content and gameplay enhancements.
The star of the show is the game’s tenth playable hero, Rosa the High Court Chariot, a formidable Hunter renowned for her high defensive capabilities. Rosa's Holy Domain Skill transforms her into an unstoppable chariot, leaving a trail of devastation and afflicting enemies caught in her path with a potent curse.
For existing heroes, Twinightmare introduced four new skills – Whirlwind Blade, Lightning Beam, Star Stalker, and Harmonious Field. These additions provide players with expanded customization options that will allow for new and potentially more powerful character builds.
The start of a new season also brought new season mechanics that will send players to the realm of dreams where Dream Lotuses are scattered throughout each map. Interacting with these lotuses may trigger Good Dreams, spawning Dream Monsters that yield rewards. However, a daring risk/reward dynamic comes into play, as accumulating loot increases the potential for more challenging but infinitely more rewarding Nightmare attacks.
To help players overcome the season challenge, they’ll have access to the new Season Talent Panel that they’ll be able to upgrade throughout the new season.
XD Games also infused festive cheer into Torchlight: Infinite with the Winter Festival in-game event. The Torchlight Hideout has now been transformed into a winter wonderland, offering the perfect backdrop for seasonal celebrations.
The team also introduced various optimizations and quality-of-life changes that cater to both new and experienced players, streamlining loot drops and allowing for the sharing of character builds.
Later in the season, players can look forward to the return of Spring Festival in time for the Lunar New Year. The event will feature time-limited tasks, with lanterns as rewards for completing challenges like conquering the Netherrealm stage or defeating designated bosses.
Accumulated lanterns can be exchanged for high-value rewards, including Jagged Primocryst, Appearance Crystals, and a New Year Limited avatar. As the new lunar year begins, players can also partake in an exclusive Gacha Event to obtain the Dancing Red Dragon outfit.
