Torchlight Infinite Opens Pre-Registrations On Android and iOS
XD Games has officially opened pre-registrations for its Torchlight mobile spinoff, Torchlight Infinite. Interested Android and iOS users can pre-register through XD’s TapTap mobile gaming hub although the studio failed to mention the benefits of pre-registering for the upcoming game.
Torchlight Ininite is set 200 years after the events of Torchlight 2, completely skipping the Torchlight 3 timeline. The game promises virtually “infinite” build combinations with over 50 talent nodes, 200 available skills, and over 230 pieces of gear.
“In the era of Ember Technology, 200 years since the events of Torchlight II, humans have resorted to Ember as the main source of power for machinery operation and magic practices. Behind the facade of a prosperous civilization, the corrupting influence of Ember is beginning to wreak havoc on the land and the lives that depend on it.
As civilization faces unprecedented crisis, an elite task force of fighters emerges. Through persistence and perseverance, they prevail in the face of darkness – they are Torchlight. Each member of Torchlight carries with them incredible strength and unique powers as they embark on an epic quest to defeat evil forces and achieve salvation.”
The game will also be launching on PC and is being redesigned from the ground up with mouse and keyboard in mind. XD Games will be revealing more information about the PC release at the TapTap Presents showcase on July 23rd.
