World Of Warcraft Drops Patch 10.2: Guardians Of The Dream Patch Notes

Blizzard Entertainment has dropped the official patch notes for World of Warcraft Patch 10.2: Guardians of the Dream well-ahead of the update’s release. This should give players ample time to acquaint themselves with all of the new content, features, and changes that will be coming to the long-running MMORPG when the update comes out next week.
The centerpiece of Patch 10.2 is the new Emerald Dream zone, a lush and mystical area that’s home to a new faction called the Dream Wardens. Players will be able to complete various tasks for the faction to earn Renown as they work to thwart Fyrakk’s invasion of the dream world in the new campaign chapters.
New chapters and story quests will be released throughout the month of November, culminating in a fight against eight bosses and Fyrakk the Blazing himself in a new raid called Amirdrassil, the Dream’s Hope. Those who successfully complete the encounter will have the chance to bag new class amor sets, dragonriding mounts, and Fyrakk’s legendary two-handed axe, Fyr’alath, the Dream Render.
Players can also look forward to the new Eastern Kingdoms Cup dragon racing event, new glyphs, new shapeshifting forms for Druids, a handful of new character customization options, and the new 8v8 Blitz Brawl battleground.
Patch 10.2 will also nerf mana restoration skills and items for healer roles, extended the recharging time of revival catalysts to two weeks, and incorporate PvP gear into the universal upgrade system, in addition to a whole host of general gameplay tweaks and quality-of-life improvements.
The official patch notes offers a detailed rundown of what to expect. The update itself arrives on November 7th.
