World Of Warcraft’s Guardians Of The Dream Will Introduce A New 8v8 Battleground

World of Warcraft Patch 10.2: Guardians of the Dream is turning out to be a giant of an update, promising new story content, upgrade system improvements, a menagerie of new shapeshifting forms for Druids, new Blood Elf hair colors, and the new Blitz Brawl 8v8 battleground.

“We’ve made some changes to how players will interact with the battlegrounds, leading to a slightly faster pace and new mechanics to utilize as you put yourself — and your team — to the test against your opponents,” said Blizzard. “Like the introduction of Solo Shuffle, the introduction of the Battleground Blitz Brawl could start down the path toward introducing it as a rated mode.”

Guardians of the Dream arrives on November 7th just a few weeks before the long-running fantasy MMORPG celebrates its 19th anniversary. The anniversary festivities begin on November 16th with a whole host of anniversary rewards up for grabs including an XP and reputation booster, the Lil’ Frostwing battle pet, and the Azure Worldchiller mount.
