Warframe Is Getting A Sports Mode Later This Week, More Updates Planned

Digital Extremes announced yesterday at E3's PC Gaming Show that Warframe is getting a new, unexpected mode: a sports mode called Lunaro. The new sports mode looks something like handball in space.
Lunaro is described as follows.
This new, fast-paced, competitive team sport challenges players to use skill, mobility, teamwork, and creativity for victory and honor. Accessed in-game through the Conclave, Lunaro invites Tenno to join team Sun or team Moon with up to four players per team. Teams must defend their goal while doing their best to score by shooting the ball (or Lunaro) through the opponents' goal. Tenno may defend their zone by smashing the Lunaro out of the opponent's possession or by knocking them down with a crushing hit.
PC players will be able to take part in Lunaro matches later this week. PS4 and Xbox One users will have to wait a little longer to join in on the fun—the only release window given was "soon." To get a taste of the new sports mode in action, check out the video below.
Lunaro will be but the first of three updates releasing over the course of June and July. Other updates planned are described as follows.
Lunaro is the first of three significant updates planned for Warframe in June and July, culminating with the next incredible cinematic quest experience, The War Within. Expect more exciting announcements in the coming weeks regarding a complete rework of Warframe's Star Chart, the introduction of new companions, including the cat-like Kavats, and big additions to Warframe's Archwing space combat systems as the Dev team lays the path to The War Within.
