Torchlight Infinite Rolls Out Its First Major Update ‘The City Of Aeterna’ And New Hero Iris

Torchlight Infinite has opened the virtual gates to The City of Aeterna and all of the new content within it as the titular update officially goes live. The City of Aeterna is the multiplayer ARPG’s first major update and not only introduces more ways to play the game but also adds a new character to the hero roster.

Iris is the ninth addition to Torchlight Infinite’s growing list of heroes. Her unique abilities allow her to summon Spirit Magi to assist her in battle, which she can buff and upgrade thanks to their innate dynamic growth mechanic.

The update also introduced a mission path to rebuild the city of Aeterna, a new boss, new fire-based skills for Gemma, season talents, and the new blueprint system, in addition to a long list of gameplay improvements including revamped Netherrealm Battles, auction hall updates, and crafting optimizations.
