Lost Ark’s May Update Arriving ‘No Sooner Than The Third Week Of May’

As far as the past Lost Ark monthly content updates are concerned, they’ve always consistently arrived around the third week of the month. While Amazon Game Studios doesn’t have a hard date for the May update, they’ve confirmed that it will likely roll out around the same time.

According to the team’s latest dev update, they’re currently working on finalizing and testing the update’s contents. Whether that will include new raid dungeons still remains to be seen as they’re release still depends on whether enough players are ready to take on the challenge. The hammer-wielding Destroyer advanced class for the Warrior is also expected to make its debut as part of the May update.

“Armed with a variety of skills centered around charging into the heart of the fray, their hammer attacks are so catastrophically crushing that Destroyers can bend gravity to their will— slowing, launching, pushing and pulling enemies— whatever it takes to utterly, beyond a shadow of a doubt, destroy them.”

Amazon promises to share more details on what’s coming in the update in the weeks leading up to its release.

Meanwhile, the team took the servers down for weekly maintenance one day ahead of its usual schedule to deploy fixes for the Rapport system exploit and several know issues.

Unlocking character slots using Character Slot Expansion tickets will no longer decrease the remaining number of tickets available for purchase in the cash shop. Players will now be able to purchase the required number of tickets to unlock all their character slots should they wish to do so. The update also fixed an issue with the new Feiton Powerpass being unusable if certain World Quests on previous continents haven’t been completed yet. The Powerpass will now require only the Feiton quest “Will” to be completed for it to become available.
