Lost Ark’s Battle For The Throne Of Chaos Nearly Delayed But Is Now Live

After nearly being delayed because of critical issues, Lost Ark’s big Battle for the Throne of Chaos update is now live on the servers. Luckily, Amazon Game Studios was able to “quickly identify and resolve” the unrevealed issue and roll out the update as scheduled.
Amazon has been teasing the update over the past few weeks, but for posterity’s sake we’re giving you a final rundown of the update’s contents, which includes a new advanced class for the Martial Artist – the Glaivier.
“Practicing an artistic and deadly form of martial arts, the Glaivier slices and dices her way through the battlefield, weaving together attacks with her spear and glaive. The Glaivier has two distinct skill sets which can be swapped between— Focus and Flurry— with each stance and skill set represented by one of her two weapons. The shorter spear is used to unleash a furious barrage in the Flurry stance, while the longer glaive harnesses Focus stance for gracefully lethal strikes and sweeping attacks.”
The update will also open up the new Tier 3 endgame continent of South Vern where an army of demons have gathered to defend the Throne of Chaos. Players will also gain access to the new Express Mission event, additional character slots, enhanced co-op map features, and the new limited-time Feiton Powerpass which they can use to instantly boost an alternate character with appropriate gear.
“Players will receive a Feiton Powerpass after completing Feiton’s main story quest ‘Will’ during the event period, or, if you’ve already finished the quest before the update, you’ll get the Powerpass when the event starts!
The Feiton Powerpass will function like the Vern Powerpasses available to players in the launch version of Lost Ark— once you’ve completed the storyline through that continent, you’ll be able to use it to bring an alternate character to that point in the game. With a Feiton Powerpass, you’ll receive level 960 gear.”
The new Powerpass will only be available until June 30th which gives you just over two months to complete the Vern storyline.
