Several Lost Ark Servers Are Expected To Go Down For 16 Hours For Merging
Lost Ark will be going down for maintenance today to deploy the Rage of the Machinist update and to merge 24 servers down to 12 as part of its first wave of server merges.
All servers regardless of region will be simultaneously taken offline for maintenance to deploy the update. Servers that aren’t included in the list of servers to be merged should expect the servers to go back up after four hours, while those that are can expect an extended downtime of up to 16 hours.
“This is due to the sheer volume of information that needs to be moved from one server to another,” Amazon explained. “Teams from Amazon will be working alongside Smilegate this entire time to assure that any possible issues that may arise will be addressed promptly. Each region will come online as it completes its update and merge.”
Here’s the list of servers to be merged today:
Western Europe
- Shadespire will merge into Rethramis
- Petrania will merge into Tortoyk
- Tragon will merge into Moonkeep
- Stonehearth will merge into Punika
South America
- Kurzan will merge into Agaton
- Prideholme will merge into Vern
- Yorn will merge into Gienah
- Feiton will merge into Arcturus
Central Europe
- Sirius will merge with Sceptrum and will become Starlight
- Thaemine will merge with Procyon and become Lazenith
- Nineveh will merge with Beatrice and become Twilightmist
- Brelshaza will merge with Inanna and become Balthorr
Naturally, the extended downtime has players complaining about not being able to access the Rage of the Machinist’s new content alongside other servers, particularly the new Kakul-Saydon Legion Raid and the Gunner’s new advanced class, the Machinist. But, the good news is that Amazon is offering compensation in the form of a two-week login event offering various rewards including item and currency chests, selection pouches, Creation Fragments, and Pheon.
The login bonus track will be available as soon as the servers come back online and will run until October 12th.
