A Picturesque Continent And New Guardian Raid Await In Lost Ark’s October Update
Now that we’re nearing mid-October, Amazon Game Studios is now gearing up for Lost Ark’s next monthly update. The October update will drop on October 11th and will open up the new late game continent of Pleccia followed by a new Guardian Raid shortly after.
To visit Pleccia, you’ll need to have an item level of at least 1475 and completed the Call of Destiny quest. It’s described as a continent of romance, art, and freedom with new points-of-interest to explore and new NPCs to interact with.
“The story of Pleccia begins in Luterra – with rumors of strange things happening in the beautiful continent,” Amazon teased. “Players must solve the mysteries surrounding the Vediche family, the priests of Sacria, and an old friend to reach the end of the story. After the story has ended, players can search for a unique set of collectible items to receive special rewards, and look for hidden achievements unlockable only in Pleccia.”
You’ll get a few days to focus on exploring the new continent before the Caliligos Trial Guardian Raid opens its doors on October 14th. Players are once again being challenged to be the first or the fastest group to clear the raid for a place in the leaderboards.
“A challenging experience akin to the Inferno difficulty of Legion Raids, the Caliligos Trial Guardian Raid can only be entered after setting up your build through the 'Book of Coordination', completing Raid Level 1: Defeat Vertus, and reaching Item Level 1250,” the studio warned.
