Lost Ark’s October Update ‘Monster Bash’ Now Live With A New Continent To Explore
Lost Ark is sending players off to the romantic continent of Pleccia as its Monster Bash October update officially goes live. True to its name, the update also offers plenty of monster bashing fun with the opening of a new trial guardian raid and the return of event guardian raids. But first, the new continent:
“The story of Pleccia begins in Luterra – with rumors of strange things happening in the beautiful continent,” Amazon said. “Players must solve the mysteries surrounding the Vediche family, the priests of Sacria, and look into Armen’s memories to reach the end of the story. After the story has ended, players can search for a unique set of collectible items to receive special rewards, and look for hidden achievements unlockable only in Pleccia.”
Players will be able to unlock a new emote, two new titles, 34 new achievements, two new card book sets, six new cards, and new collectibles. There’s also a new guide quest to help players find their bearings in the new continent.
Now, onto the monster bashing fun. The Caliligos Trial Guardian Raid is set to open its doors on October 14th at 12 p.m. PDT, which will also mark the start of the race for World First clear. While waiting for the new raid, you can take a stab at the Event Guardian Raids, which have returned with a Halloween twist.
The Event Guardian Raids will have Scale of Balance applied to them to give more people a chance to successfully complete them and earn tokens that can be exchanged for Halloween-themed rewards from the event vendor. The event will right up until the December update’s release, so you’ll have plenty of time to grab the Halloween rewards before they’re put back into the vault.
The October update also introduced new hairstyle options, various quest adjustments, and the ability to upgrade gear set effects from level 1 to level 3. You can also groove to 15 new jukebox songs if that’s your thing.
