Lost Ark Plans To Merge European Servers Into One Region On August 30
Amazon Game Studios is planning to consolidate Lost Ark’s European servers into just one region for the entire continent. Come August 30th, the Europe West and Europe Central server regions will be merged into a single region with server names remaining untouched throughout the process.
However, it’s important to note that players who have characters on both regions might need to change their names if there’s a conflict. The same applies to guilds. Affected players will be prompted to change their name when they login for the first time after the merge. Guilds, on the other hand, will have a “#’ affixed to the start of their names and can be changed by the guild master via the guild management menu.
Account-based items like free tickets and tokens will automatically be merged and any excess above the account cap will be deleted. PvP rankings and MMRs will also be reset following the merge. Specific merge rules and policies can be found on the Lost Ark official site.
After the region merge, the developers will begin looking into possibly merging individual servers to maintain a healthy population. Stay tuned for more information in the lead up to the merge.
On August 30, we will conduct a region merge to fold Europe West into Europe Central.
The Europe West world names (Nia & Ealyn) will remain the same and will be integrated into Europe Central.
