Lost Ark Opens The Gates To Elgacia And A New Dungeon In Today’s Big Update

Lost Ark’s big June update arrives later today, opening the gates to a brand-new region called Elgacia where players will resume their quest to thwart the demon invasion and uncover the secrets of the ancient and now-extinct race of the Lazeniths.

“The Demon invasion beginning in South Vern and the Legion Commanders’ powers are growing with the Chaos Gates all over world. With Kazeros’ resurrection nigh due to the Dimensional Rift, it’s time for gates of Elgacia to open. Kadan and Nineveh will lead you to Elgacia, the land of Lazeniths. What will happen in the final paradise built by Regulus?”

The continent of Elgacia will feature new points of interest, including the city of Ereonnor, the blessed Hestera Garden, and the sacred mountain of Phylantos. Players will also be able to take on the new Kayangel abyssal dungeon which will come in multiple modes, the new Balthorr raid event, and the final 25 floors of the Fortunespire tower instance.

The update will also revamp ability stones and introduce a long list of adjustments and fixes. The servers are now down for maintenance and should be back up in a few short hours with Algecia deployed. In the meantime, you can take a gander at the full release notes on the Lost Ark official site.
