Lost Ark’s big May update, dubbed Destined for Destruction, finally gets a release date and will be rolling out on the live servers on May 19th. The update will feature the hammer-wielding Destroyer class’ debut as the Warrior’s fourth advanced class.

Destined for Destruction will also add new endgame content and will open the doors to the new Deskaluda Guardian Raid and the game’s first Legion Raid with the demon Valtan as the final boss. Amazon has been hesitant about releasing new endgame encounters after they were accused of rushing the release of the Argos Abyss Raid back in March. But after crunching the numbers and rolling out various boosting events, the team feels that enough players have reached the appropriate item levels to take on more difficult challenges.

The Deskaluda Guardian Raid will require a minimum item level of 1415 to complete while the Valtan Legion Raid will require players to have an item level of at least 1415 for Normal difficulty and 1445 for the Hard version.

Players can also look forward to the addition of Relic rarity weapons as well as a time-limited skin shop so you can look your best while taking on Destined for Destruction’s new challenges.
