Lost Ark Is Deploying New Anti-Bot Trading Restrictions With Tomorrow’s Update

Amazon Game Studio is implementing additional measures to combat botting, real-money trading, and scams with tomorrow’s update. As part of the new anti-bot measures, players who have yet to reach Item Level 1375 on at least one character in their account will no longer be able to sell trade skill materials in the market.

The new trading restrictions should not only help prevent illicit trading in the market but also alert Amazon to any suspicious accounts that try to fast track their way to the required item level. While some players might find the trading restriction to be an inconvenience, especially for those looking to roll an alt, Amazon has previously shown flexibility with its anti-bot measures and may decide to tweak the restriction or remove it altogether once they’ve gathered enough feedback.

In the meantime, if you’ve yet to unlock the Geralt and Ciri cosmetics, you definitely need to get a move on as The Witcher crossover event officially ends alongside the update’s release tomorrow.
