Team 21 Delays Ilysia’s First Beta Test Again As Account Management Issue Persists

Ilysia, which promises to transport gamers back to the good old days of classic MMORPGs, is facing yet another delay. The VR MMORPG’s first beta test, which was initially scheduled to kick off last month but was delayed to May 13th, has been postponed again due to the same account management issues.
“We are still working through issues with MagePortal and unfortunately we’re going to need to push Beta back while we iron out a few more bugs,” announced developer Team 21 Studio. “With only a few days left before our original target date, we felt it necessary to make this announcement ahead of time in respect for those that were making plans around their weekend to participate in our Beta 1.”
But it’s not all bad news. The developers over at Team 21 Studio has managed to upgrade the necessary systems without requiring players to recreate their accounts. However, players will need to create new passwords to comply with the game’s new security requirements and encryption.
“Once we know for certain that MagePortal is fully functioning, we’ll post an announcement and let our players begin logging in to reset their passwords and redeem their keys,” the team concluded.
