VR MMORPG Ilysia’s Postpones First Beta Test Due To Data Security Issues

We’ve got bad news for Ilysia fans eagerly waiting for the VR MMORPG’s first beta test as security issues have thrown a wrench in the studio’s plans. Originally set for this month, the first beta test will now take place on Saturday, May 13th.
“Long story short – we have hit a snag on this,” Team21 announced. “Unfortunately, as [MagePortal] is a critical piece of accessing the game, we have had to make the difficult decision to delay the launch of Beta 1 while we validate security and data integrity.”
It turns out that the MagePortal account management system, which plays a crucial role in keeping user data secure, has been causing some issues for the devs. In fact, it has caused such a ruckus that the developers have had to hit the brakes and work together with MagePortal to validate security. While this delay may be frustrating for eager players, it’s definitely best to take the time to get things right than to rush and put users’ sensitive information at risk.
The developers have apologized for the delay and promised to keep the community informed of any further changes to the schedule.
