Ilysia’s Latest Roadmap Offers Rough Timelines For New Features And PSVR 2 Launch

Team 21 Studio has a whole lot of things on deck for Ilysia over the next few months which were the main focus of last week’s dev update video. The team has now followed up that dev talk with an actual roadmap that offers a more detailed list of what’s to come and their respective launch windows.
First up on deck is a graphical upgrade for the Quest 3 version of the VR MMORPG and improvements to the starting island, both of which are scheduled to roll out sometime this month. New combat and character controllers are set to follow this winter, along with Vive wand support, better mob AI behavior, and a server merge.
Spring 2024 will be a bit heavier on content as Team 21 prepares to open up the new Cratera zone and introduce new gear, mobs, and a cooking system. The developers also plan to bump up the level cap, merge factions, and launch the game on PSVR 2 around the same time.
All in all, there’s a lot to look forward to over the next six months or so as you’ll see in the updated development roadmap below.
