Kickstarted VR MMO Ilysia Will Be Launching Into Early Access This Month

Kickstarted VR MMO Ilysia will be launching into early access sometime this month as confirmed by its developer Team 21 Studio. The team has yet to lock down a definite release date but they did reveal some of the key features that fans can expect from the early access build. These include a new starting zone, new tutorials, new zones, new races, and a whole host of bug fixes.

“Our team is THRILLED to be reaching this next milestone and getting our community in and playing Ilysia,” the studio announced. “Be on the lookout for more information during this spooky month and when you can expect to jump into the world of Ilysia!”

The game managed to raise over $150,000 during its Kickstarter campaign back in 2020, followed by several rounds of alpha testing throughout 2021 and 2022. Team 21 originally planned to start beta testing this summer but had to postpone the test three times, with the closed beta test finally being held this past August minus several key features.

Nevertheless, Ilysia will soon be transitioning into early access, barring any further delays. We’ll let you know as soon as Team 21 announces an exact date.
