Ilysia’s Dev Team Is Cutting Back Weekly Updates To Focus On Key Areas Of Improvement

Ilysia developer Team 21 Studio is getting its priorities in order as it shifts its focus from weekly updates to addressing four key areas of improvement in the VR MMORPG. In line with their renewed focus on improving the game, the studio has shifted a few things around in its updated development roadmap for the early access title.

According to the studio, they’re immediate focus for the next few months and early 2024 is to improve the combat system and character controller, implement PSVR support, the faction merge, and roll out additional quality-of-life updates.

PSVR support, in particular, will be getting more attention as it will allow the studio to finally launch the game on PSVR 2 and open the game up to a brand-new market. Combat and character controller improvements will also remain a top priority to retain existing players and possibly encourage new ones to buy-in.
