Guild Wars 2 previews Elite Specializations, announces period for people to try them out
Guild Wars 2 is ramping up their Path of Fire announcements, and have posted a Developer Diary featuring the upcoming Elite Specializations! Though GW2's second expansion is still over a month a way, it's always nice to receive information early, isn't it?
Each Profession will be receiving a new Elite Specialization. Elementalists can become Weavers, but they lack the ability to create nice clothing. Additionally,
- Engineer: Holosmith
- Guardian: Firebrand
- Mesmer: Mirage
- Necromancer: Scourge
- Ranger: Soulbeast
- Revenant: Renegade
- Thief: Deadeye
- Warrior: Spellbreaker
Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire – Developer Diary – Elite Specializations
All players will be invited to try out these new Specializations in a demo, where players can take their Elite Specializations into PvP, and World vs. World. This demo will run from August 18th, until August 20th, and players can find trailers for their new Elite Specializations here.
