Genshin Impact Is Adding A New Character Who Doubles As A Raid Boss In Version 4.6

Genshin Impact is taking a wildly different approach to its next roster addition with a playable character that’s also a raid boss in Version 4.6, dubbed Two Worlds Aflame, the Crimson Night Fades.
The update will introduce Arlechinno, a.k.a. The Knave, a 5-Star Pyro polearm user who can create a life bond with enemies to increase her damage and deal no-resist fire damage as long as her HP is equal to or lower than the life bond HP. She’ll also employ the same skill when fighting her as a weekly raid boss to increase the damage taken by bonded characters and prevent them from being healed.
Update 4.6 will also add two new zones, the Nostoi Region and a new underwater zone in the Sea of Bygone Eras, as well as a new story arc where players will need to reactivate ancient devices by learning a particular symphony. They’ll also meet a “special dragon” and go up against a new boss called the Legatus Golem.
Players can also look forward to several new in-game events that involve regrowing silver trees, taking on specific instances, and participating in Arataki Itto’s “Iridescent Arataki Rockin’ for Life Tour de Force of Awesomeness” musical event.
Version 4.6 is scheduled to arrive on April 24 on PC, PlayStation, and mobile devices. In the meantime, you can catch a preview of the new raid boss/character and the update’s contents in the new trailer below.
