Genshin Impact Marks Five Years With New Theme Song and Anniversary Art

HoYoverse is gearing up for Genshin Impact’s fifth-anniversary celebrations with a fresh theme song and a splash of new artwork. The track, titled “The Long Way Home,” was written by in-house composer Peijia You and performed by voice actor Erika Harlacher in character as Venti. It arrived on September 26, two days ahead of the game’s official anniversary on September 28.
The open-world RPG has turned yearly anniversaries into full in-game events, handing out Primogems while reminding players of its globe-trotting soundtrack and elaborate character art. This year’s music video showcases each of Teyvat’s Archons in tranquil corners of their respective regions before everyone gathers around a hot-pot dinner, which is an image that ties neatly into the current “Moonlit Hotpot Journey” reward campaign.
The music video features every nation’s Archon in a slice-of-life montage that ends with a communal meal.
The track is available on major streaming platforms and on the game’s YouTube channel, continuing HoYoverse’s tradition of packaging new music as collectible digital albums.
