Genshin Impact 4.0 "As Light Rain Falls Without Reason" is launching on August 16th and with it comes the following new features:
- Introduction to Fontaine, the Nation of Justice and the hub of culture and art
- New Areas to Explore - Explore vast landscapes, and experience numerous World Quests and rich stories
- Under Water Adventure - Dive underwater in certain regions of Fontaine and discover lost areas and mysteries. This is the 1st underwater experience in the game!
- New Story Content - Continuation of the main story with Archon Quests in Fontaine
- Three new playable characters: Lyney (5 star) Archer, Lynette (4 star) Anemo, and Freminet (4 star) Claymore.
- Two new bosses with unique attacks and movement. The two boss challenges are a Clockwork meka duo "Icewind Suite" and the heavily Armored Crablord "Emperor of Fire and Iron".
- Quality of life improvements / Features: Global illumination, motion sensor support, and faster loading.
