Genshin Impact Version 1.3 Is Now Live Featuring The Vigilant Adeptus Xiao
As announced last week, Update 1.3 is now live on Genshin Impact on PC, Playstation 4, and mobile devices. The latest update introduces two new 5-star characters – Keqing and Xiao, the Vigilant Adeptus. Xiao is an agile burst-damage dealer who can sacrifice his HP to temporarily increase his jumping power and damage which can quickly turn the tide of battle.
The update’s release also kicks off the Lantern Rite event which marks the start of Lunar New Year celebrations in the game. The event runs from February 10th to February 28th and will give players the chance to participate in several seasonal events and mini-games and earn one of three 4-star characters. Events and minigames can be unlocked in stages by completing Lantern Rite Tales requests to earn Primogems and increase Festive Fever.
Update 1.3 also features new login rewards, new weapons, and the new Parametric Transformer item that lets players transmute enhancement materials into character EXP, character level-up, and weapon ascension materials. This is in addition to new recipes, and a new achievement along with several fixes, tweaks, and optimizations.
