Genshin Impact Raked In Over $153 Million In January 2021

genshin impact sitting overlook bannerGenshin Impact continues to perform well worldwide with the anime-themed mobile game making miHoYo $153.4 million in revenue in January 2021 alone.

In spite of a slight drop in revenue from $163 million in December, the game still manages to secure the fourth spot in Safe Betting Site’s worldwide highest-grossing mobile games list. Honor of Kings was number one in the list in January, PUBG Mobile held second place, and Fate/Grand Order came in at third.

Majority of the game’s revenue came from Japan which amounted to 33% of player spending, followed by China with 25.7%, and the US at third with 17.4%.

Genshin Impact launched in September 2020 and became the highest grossing mobile game in history a month after it launched with $245 million in revenue, surpassing Pokemon Go’s $207 million. The game continued to rake in an average of $6 million per day in the succeeding months after its launch.
