Genshin Impact Previews New Dendro Element And New Reactions

Genshin Impact players will be getting access to a new element when Version 3.0 comes out in a few weeks or so. There are a total of seven basic elemental characters in the game, six of which are currently available to players. The seventh and rarest element, Dendro, can currently only be found in enemy mobs and bosses but will soon be available to players with the release of one of the game’s biggest update to date.

Characters aligned with Dendro (derived from the Greek word for tree), will come equipped with plant-based skills that can interact with each of the six other previously available elements. Dendro skills will come with their own set of new reactions, including Bloom and Catalyze. As you can probably guess, Bloom effects result from a combination of Dendro and Hyrdo abilities, while Catalyze is a completely new and unique reaction that can be achieved by combining Dendro and Electric abilities. Catalyze also has the possibility of interacting with other elements

Aside from a new element, Version 3.0 will also introduce a new region, new characters, and new quests, all of which will be coming to mobile devices, PC, and PlayStation when the big update goes live. Developer HoYoverse has yet to announce a release date but, based on the studio’s previous update schedules, we can probably expect it to come out around late August.
