Genshin Impact is set to launch Version 5.8, "Sunspray Summer Resort," on July 30, bringing a fresh summer map and a new playable character to the popular free-to-play action RPG. Known for its massive open world and frequent updates, Genshin Impact continues to grow its Teyvat universe, with Natlan’s Easybreeze Holiday Resort now joining the roster of permanent regions. This update also marks the introduction of Ineffa, the first character from the upcoming Nod-Krai region, as the game builds toward its next major storyline arc.
Easybreeze Holiday Resort offers a colorful, beachside setting packed with new activities, mini-games, and secrets. The map sits off the west coast of Natlan, a region long teased for its fiery, dynamic culture. Familiar faces like Bennett, Chasca, Mualani, and even Venti are set to return in this update, with a new story quest that peels back more layers of Teyvat’s lore. The summer event also debuts Asha, a mascot who provides new exploration abilities, and introduces players to the mysterious Mare Jivari and the lurking monster Bakunawa.
