First Part of Lost Ark's June Update Launches June 14 With New Continent of Elgacia

Lost Ark's latest update is launching on June 14 and it introduces the new continent of Elgacia which features new story content, Abyssal Dungeon, and more. The new dungeon is called Light's Sanctuary and normal mode requires item level 1540 with hard mode requiring 1580.

This isn't the only big update coming to Lost Ark in June. The final 25 floors of Fortunespire will be launching later in the month along with new player improvements and other quality of life changes. Additional details on the rest of June's updates will be revealed on June 14th.

Lost Ark continues to lose players. The game averaged 48,000 players in the last 30 days, but peaked at 42,500 in the last 24 hours. The game also suffers from serious botting issues, so many of these 42,500 players are likely bots. The game's average playerbase has trended downwards continuously since launch. Still, despite this, it remains one of the most popular MMORPGs on Steam and regularly sits as one of the top earning games on the platform.
