Domino's and Final Fantasy XIV Team Up in a New Promotion, Offering Pizza and Video Games Together

Sometimes, when I wake up, I can't believe my eyes. I thought the Final Fantasy XIV campaign involving Mrs. Freshley's was odd, but it seems Australia is content to one-up the States with a new campaign involving Domino's Pizza.
For $49.95 AUS, people can order 3 Traditional Pizzas, 1 Garlic Bread, a 1.25L Drink, and the Complete Edition of Final Fantasy XIV - which includes the base game A Realm Reborn, the Heavensward expansion, and the Stormblood expansion, which by itself is valued at $79.95 AUS (at least for the PS4 at the time of this article).
No Australian Servers for AUS/NZ Players
Pizza and Video Games have been a match in nerd heaven since the 1980s. Video Games and Australia, however, are a different story. Many multiplayer games have overlooked the continent down under, and FFXIV is no exception. Players in Australia must connect to the Japanese servers if they want to get the smoothest possible playing experience - and even then, there are high ping issues.
Could this promotion be a sign of dedicated Australian servers coming for FFXIV players? Only time will tell - but this kind of promotion makes a lot of sense if Square Enix wants to boost the amount of people playing their premier MMORPG in Australia. The value given by this deal is insanely good.
