Digital Extremes Unveils Warframe’s Isleweaver Update, Yareli Prime, and New Soulframe Trailer at PAX East
At their PAX East 2025 panel, Digital Extremes dropped major updates for Warframe and Soulframe, giving fans a packed roadmap leading into TennoCon. The highlights include Warframe’s next narrative chapter, Isleweaver, arriving in June, the debut of Yareli Prime this May, and a fresh look at Soulframe’s dark fantasy world.
Warframe Updates
- Isleweaver (June 2025) – The story continues in Duviri as players confront Major Rusalka, now ruling as a tyrant. New Murmur enemies and the Eight Claw Clan Operation await.
- Oraxia, the 61st Warframe – A long-requested spider-themed Warframe with web-based abilities, wall-crawling mobility, and health-draining attacks.
- Yareli Prime (May 21) – The aquatic Warframe returns in Prime form, wielding the Daikyu Prime bow and Kompressa Prime pistol.
- Heirloom Skins – Valkyr’s rework and Heirloom cosmetic arrive July 21, followed by Vauban’s in early 2026, both designed with community artists.
Soulframe Showcase
A new trailer highlighted Soulframe’s progress, featuring the grim Neathuns environment and a brutal boss fight against Bromius, a three-headed armored bear. More details will be revealed at TennoCon in July.
Warframe Creative Director Rebecca Ford emphasized fulfilling fan requests, like the spider-inspired Oraxia, while Soulframe’s Geoff Crookes teased refinements based on player feedback, including combat upgrades and new social features.
