Diablo-Inspired MMORPG Cronous Is Shutting Down This August

Another MMO bites the dust as Neowiz announces the closure of Cronous, their Diablo-inspired free-to-play fantasy MMORPG.

“We’ve decided to end the service for global Cronous on August 20th. We deeply apologize to all players who enjoyed the game,” the team wrote on the official site. “Throughout the years all of you have given us memories and we would never forget them. Our team would like to take this time to thank everyone that loves Cronous.”

Premium currency purchase has now been disabled but players will still be able to use any remaining currency until the servers are shut down. Players will also enjoy increased XP gains, higher drop rates in some dungeons, and discounts on cash shop items until the end of service.
