Free-To-Play ARPG Cronous Relaunches On Steam Under Valofe’s Publishing Banner

Valofe has used their powers of necromancy to resurrect yet another recently sunsetted MMO. Lizard Interactive’s free-to-play ARPG Cronous is now back from the dead and is now playable on Steam with Valofe as its new publisher.
The Diablo-like MMO officially shutdown under Aeria Games’ publishing banner just this summer but is now back in operation in its original state from way back in 2001. Unfortunately, the community’s response to the re-release has been “Mostly Negative” due to the game’s dated graphics, lack of Full HD support, and various issues with installation, lag, disconnects, and crashing. Players are also complaining about the game’s “predatory” business model, low XP gains, and lottery-style lootboxes.
Valofe has taken over publishing responsibilities for multiple dead or dying MMOs over the past year, including Atlantica Online, Continent of the Ninth Seal, MU Legend, Riders of Icarus, and Bless Unleashed PC, with the last two getting play-to-earn and blockchain mechanics.
As for Cronous, its logged an all-time peak concurrency of just 120 players since its relaunch with just over 60 players online as of this writing.
