Celebrate Four Years Of Warframe By Playing The Octavia's Anthem Update

Warframe's latest update, Octavia's Anthem, is set to go live today on PC. The update brings with it a new Warframe called "Octavia," whose abilities make use of music. Players can "cooperatively [devise] songs with friends in dojos," using "Melody, Bass, and Percussion," or download songs created by others.

Octavia is being introduced alongside a new quest. The story behind this new quest is as follows.

The Octavia's Anthem Quest will have you drawn into the Relay by the vast consciousness Cephalon Suda, whose strange, disoriented behavior warrants investigation. Find out what happened to Cephalon Suda before it's too late and the knowledge she has collected is destroyed. Beware, Tenno, as darkness lingers.

Also included in the update is a set of two new weapons, which are "designed to work in synch with the Octavia Warframe," and a new feature called "Captura." Captura allows players to take photos of their Warframes and then edit the photos they take with an assortment of "filters, graphics, and editing tools."

You can find more information about the Octavia's Anthem update and an all new web comic called "What Remains" on the official website.

As the update was released on Warframe's fourth anniversary, Digital Extremes has released a number of stats from the game. A total of 30,928,792 players have registered for Warframe. More than 14 billion crewmen have been killed. A total of 4 billion missions have been completed, whereas almost 250 million have been failed.
