Zenith’s Rings & Ruins Update Goes Live With A New Zone, Quests, Events, And More

Zenith has rolled out its promised Rings & Ruins update with a new area to explore and a whole host of new content to take on. The highlight feature of the update is a new Skyland area that offers new quests to complete, two new characters to meet, and a new aerial challenge for high-flying players to enjoy.
The update also introduces three new public events including a new Payload event type that will require players to work together to protect valuable cargo from enemy attacks as they escort it through the newly opened zone. While the event will probably be familiar to multiplayer gamers, it offers a decidedly different experience in VR.
Other noteworthy additions include new Skyland Pylon buffs, new craftable gear, two new pets, and the new “Ring Runner” title for those who helped test Rings & Ruins on the public test server over the past week.
Players can also expect various quality-of-life improvements to the world map which now automatically centers on the character when opened and the ability to re-center the map on the character with a single click to make navigation a whole lot easier. The developers also tweaked Godstone mechanics to allow players to switch Godstones in combat without resetting active cooldowns.
New “guardrail” measures have also been implemented to prevent data loss and players will now be redirected to customer support following multiple unsuccessful login attempts. The extensive patch notes can be found on the Zenith official site if you want to dive into the details.
