Meta’s Quest 3 VR headset will officially be shipping out to physical stores and digital storefront customers tomorrow with support for dozens of games and apps, including VR MMORPG Zenith. The Quest 3 version boasts improved visuals at par with other VR headset versions, which Ramen VR shows off in a new developer blog.

Quest 3 users can expect farther render distances, denser grass, enhanced shadows, improved object geometry, and a better-looking world overall thanks to extra visual details like splashing water and sun rays at a higher resolution without any noticeable effect on performance. Those using other VR headset platforms can also look forward to higher texture resolutions at the very least.

Zenith’s Quest 3 release, again calls attention to the pink elephant in the room – the still-undelivered non-VR PC version. The non-VR version was promised as part of the game’s Kickstarter campaign back in 2019, a promise that Ramen VR has seemingly ignored for the past four years.

In any case, a new and more vibrant virtual reality world awaits those who pre-purchased Facebook’s new VR headset when it ships out tomorrow.
