Zenith’s Ascension Update Promises Shorter But Equally Informative Tutorial

Ramen VR is preparing for the release of VR MMORPG Zenith’s upcoming Ascension update as the studio begins testing it on the alpha test server. update promises a revamped new-player experience that will be shorter but will still cover all of the necessary skills that players will need in their journey through the virtual world such as using the grappling hook, gliding, and basic combat.

The update will also offer something for veterans in the form of new late-game crafting stations, balance tweaks to godstones, and a new raid boss named Sae Jiko. “Barely escaping death, Sae Jiko, leader of the Skyland Exiled forces, mounts her final defense against the Zenithean Agents inside the Essotech Citadel,” Ramen VR teased. “The hopes and dreams of The Exiled rest on her shoulders, but the ambition of The Last City knows no bounds. Rise to the occasion, defeat the Ascended Sae Jiko!”

As for the promised desktop client, that’s still in the wind. Zenith’s Discord bot has now been updated to say that the non-VR version will be coming in the future at a date that’s yet to be announced. Ascension’s launch date has also yet to be revealed.
