Watch The Trailer For Chapter 1 Of The Guild Wars 2 Icebrood Saga Episode Finale
ArenaNet has just released the trailer for the first chapter in The Icebrood Saga: Champions, the multi-chapter Guild Wars 2 Living World episode finale. According to the episode roadmap, Chapter 1: Truce will be launching on November 17th followed by Chapter 2: Power in January, Chapter 3: Balance in March, and finally Chapter 4: Judgement in May.
“The beginning of the final arc of The Icebrood Saga begins Thursday, November 17, with the first of four chapters, titled Truce. In light of the threat posed by Jormag and the icebrood, a new, more prominent enemy stirs beneath Tyria as the forces of fire and conflagration emerge with the elder dragon Primordus at their head.
To prevent widespread calamity throughout the world, new replayable Dragon Response Missions give players a way to combat Primordus’ destruction on behalf of the inhabitants of Tyria. Allied recruitable factions and a new Dragon Slayer Mastery provide additional boons and abilities to tackle the challenges the elder dragon presents, while Dragon Slayer and Volcanic Stormcaller weapon skins reward the bold and new story missions will drive toward the saga’s epic conclusion.”
The next chapter will feature new Dragon Response Missions in the Brisban Wildlands, Gendarran Fields, and Metrica Province settlements and outposts; the Order of the Crystal Bloom global faction event; the new Dragon Slayer Mastery Track, new rewards, and voice acting for the two episodes that were affected by the COVID-19 precautionary measures: No Quarter and Jormag Rising.
