Fatshark Delays Warhammer 40k: Darktide By A Few Months For Additional Polish

Warhammer 40k: Darktide has been delayed by a few months to give Fatshark Games more time to improve and polish the upcoming co-op shooter. The game was initially scheduled to launch on PC and Xbox Series X|S on September 13th but will now be arriving solely on PC on November 30th. The Xbox launch will follow shortly after the PC release with the exact launch date to be announced sometime in the future.
“Delaying a game is perhaps one of the most difficult decisions a developer faces and one we are not excited about making,” said Fatshark CEO Martin Wahlund. “Still, we hope this speaks to our commitment to taking the time necessary and and doing whatever it takes to get you the best possible game.”
“While we have been humbled by the great feedback on the game so far, we also need more time to improve stability, performance, and to mature key systems,” added Wahlund. “Each is critical to making sure we have the best possible experience for you, the players.”
Expect to see more technical tests and beta playtests as we move closer to Warhammer 40k: Darktide’s new launch date.
