Two Of Revelation Online's Dungeons Previewed
When Revelation Online's first Closed Beta test begins on October 25th, players will be able to fight their way through four dungeons. Today, My.com gives us a look at two of those: Darkfall and Trial of the Four Kings.
Darkfall is a dungeon that can be played either solo or as a group. A solo mode and a 5-player Easy Mode unlock at level 20 while a 5-player Hard Mode unlocks at level 30. The dungeon features two bosses: Changgus, a spirit beast who was formerly "the understrapper of the King of Beasts," and Yungo, who was once the King of Beasts.
Darkfall is described as follows.
Darkfall used to be a vivid forest, home to the Palace of the King of Beasts. However, Thousands of years ago, things changed at one night. People heard loud thunders at that night, and soon the trees in Darkfall died, and the palace disappeared. Later, bounty hunters found treasures on the ruined land of Darkfall, and they believed the Palace has not disappeared, but buried underground.
A huge search for the Palace started, but all of them failed. Some of the explorers never came back. People forgot the Darkfall gradually, left the ruined land undiscovered. Now only some brave adventurers are still hunting for the secrets and treasures hidden in the Darkfall.
The Trial of the Four Kings, on the other hand, is a solo dungeon that can be entered once per day. It is the home of "several trials," each of which has a different level requirement. During the first Closed Beta test, only the Trial of the Black King, unlocked at level 20, and the Trial of the Green King, unlocked at level 40, will be available.
The Trial of the Four Kings is described as follows.
This dungeon is made of "tiers". You have to pass the tiers one by one in order to get a reward. Within 20 minutes, you must pass as many tiers as you can. However, if you fail at one tier, 5 minutes will be taken out of the total minutes as punishment.
Details about the other two dungeons that will be available during the first Closed Beta test will be released sometime in the near future.
