The Naga Are Flooding Into Hearthstone In Its First Battlegrounds Season
Queen Azshara and her army of Naga are rising from the depths of Azeroth’s oceans and making their way to Hearthstone’s Battlegrounds Season debut. Season 1: Rise of the Naga will reset Battlegrounds rating and will come with a new hero, a new keyword, and a new minion type – the Naga.
“Naga are spell-thirsty minions that are drawn to magic. They tend to give you spells or get more powerful when spells are played around them. Some Naga have the unique new keyword, Spellcraft! Minions with the Spellcraft keyword grant a temporary spell each turn. That spell can give your minions a buff that lasts until the start of your next Recruit phase.”
The queen of the Naga and former Night Elf ruler, Queen Azshara, will also be making her Hearthstone debut as the online CCG’s latest hero.
“The Highborne Queen and her people were cursed to live out their days as vengeful Naga. After transforming into Naga Queen Azshara, wave after wave of Naga will be under your command! Do you have what it takes to lead them to victory?”
Rise of the Naga kicks off on May 10th alongside the launch of Patch 23.2. Head over to the Hearthstone official site for more details.
