Tencent Purchases MMOs.com

I’m excited to share that the Chinese conglomerate Tencent Games has officially purchased MMOs.com for an undisclosed amount. This deal has been under wraps for some time, but we weren’t able to share it with our readers until today. Tencent is a tremendous company and one of the largest in the world, owning IPs such as League of Legends, and we are proud to be part of the Tencent family.
I want to assure our readers of our commitment to unbiased rewriting of press releases, editorial freedom, and journalistic integrity. We will not be affected in any matter by being owned by one of the world’s largest game publishers.
I want to add that the traditional MMOs.com team is being relocated to Shenzhen, China to work on an undisclosed project, though we can share that it will be a clicker title.
MMOs.com has a new editorial team as of today, and will continue to produce the high quality and entertaining content our readership has come to expect. No matter who works under our site’s banner, we are committed to the highest standards of game’s press criticism.
