Tarisland Shows Off The Bow-Wielding Ranger In Its Latest Class Preview Trailer

Tarisland continues its new class preview series with a glimpse of the upcoming free-to-play MMORPG’s Ranger class. As with most of the game’s classes, the Ranger is based off of the bow-wielding RPG trope with the ability to lay down various traps and summon combat pets to aid them in battle.

“Listening to the howling wind and feeling the cascading rain, I enjoy all that nature has to offer. My arrows split the air and pierce steel like it’s paper. My traps are intricately designed to bring the behemoths into submission. Intelligence, focus, and composure are what I survive on this wild wasteland with.”

Rangers can specialize in either of two talent trees: Hunting and Tamed Beast. Hunting grants increased ranged damage with a Stability mechanic that boosts their damage even further the longer that they stand still, while Tamed Beast focuses on summoning various creatures and laying traps to keep enemies at bay while the Ranger fires deadly arrows from a distance.

The video below showcases both specializations in action along with some additional class lore as Tencent remains mum on the launch details.
