Squad Previews Alpha 9, Lots Of Changes Incoming

Lots of big changes are coming to Squad when the tactical FPS heads into Alpha 9, and the development team is sharing the details through a Steam post. All new vehicles will enter the field, from motorcycles—that seat two people—to heavily armored fire support.  

Other changes include redefined functionality for Forward Operating Bases, a newly designed scoreboard, the expansion of Gorodok to a 4k map, more placements in the Yehorivka landscape, and more. Alpha 9 will be releasing in the near future.  

If you haven't heard of Squad, it's a 50 vs. 50 tactical FPS that emphasizes coordination and tactics rather than which player can line up heads in their cross-hairs. 

Squad is currently an Early Access title on Steam, retailing for $39.99.
